The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) announced “SRT Dark Red Line” will be launched by 2021

The Red Line Mass Transit System Project  (SRT Project) is the transit line that organized by the state rail of Thailand which provides with 2 main transit line including

• SRT Dark Red Line runs from Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus to Maha Chai in Samut Sakhon Province
• SRT Light Red Line runs from Salaya in Nakhon Pathom Province to Hua Mak in Bangkok.

As reported by The State Railway of Thailand (SRT), the SRT Dark Red Line planed to be launched by 2021 which imposed the fare rate between 14-47 Baht. Moreover, there are totally 25 trains and 12 train car for each of them. Also the train it’s able to contain around 200 people per train car.

Due to the almost completed construction process, both SRT RED lines had been expected to be tested as public trials riding on October, 2020 (prachachat, 2020).
