“Origin Property” expands to healthcare service prior to ORIGIN NEXT LEVEL vision and announce the collaboration with KIN rehabilitation & Homecare, the expert in total solutions of health and rejuvenation. This collaboration will bring out the first physical therapy hospital in Origin Property Group; “Kin Origin Healthcare Center’ in the new mixed use project of “Origin Wellness Complex Sukhumvit 107“, targeting to silver age. This is aligned with the increasing of aging society in Thailand under the affordable model and ready to operate in full by 2022.
Mr. Peerapong Jaroon-Ek, Chief Executive Officer of Origin Property Plc. or ORI, the leading real estate developer in Thailand has revealed that Origin has expanded into healthcare business which is our vision in this year, under ORIGIN NEXT LEVEL concept. By establishing the company; Origin Healthcare Co., Ltd., to operate the healthcare service and collaborate with Kin Rehabilitation & Homecare, the expert in healthcare and rejuvenation and 2 of the experts in Physical medicine and rehabilitation in ratio of 40:40:20 under Kin Origin Healthcare Co., Ltd., to develop and operate the first healthcare center for Origin Property Group.
“Thailand is now entering into aging society and we are the first in this region with the ratio of senior citizen aged over 65 years old at 15%. Presently Thailand has not provided such community
or ecosystem to improve the quality of living for aging people. As we are total real estate developer and service provider we foresee this opportunity and need to develop the residential and amenity plus healthcare service to fulfill the customers in this aging society”, Mr. Peerapong said.
Kin Origin Healthcare Center will be 8 storey building with total usable area of 2,800 sqm and capacity 58 beds, including of the hospital for physical therapy and total healthcare solutions, responding to medical service for Origin customers such as clinic for chronic office syndrome which will operate in Q1/ 2022. This hospital will be located in Origin Wellness Complex Sukhumvit 107, mixed use project in area of 2 Rai with a combination of Kin Origin Healthcare Center and Condominium under new brand Original with the total amenities and service for silver age, which the condominium plans to launch by Q4/ 2021.
