This third of June – official day to operate for 4 stations of green line extension!

The operation of four stations of green line extension will be official available for public on the 3rd of June including Royal Forest Department Station, Bang Bua Station, the 11th Infantry Regiment Station and Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station, according to Bangkok’s Governor Aswin.

By the end of year, expected to open final phase towards interconnection with Samut Prakan and Pathum Thani

Moreover, by the end of this year they expect to operate for the rest of stations as final phase. And the complete project of green line extension will serve the interconnection of Bangkok and its 2 nearby provinces; Phathum Thani and Samut Prakan.

Due to the Governor’s statement, by using transit operation of green line extension will take one and a half hours for 53 kilometers of this route. As well as Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station will be the center of accessibility of Northern Bangkok which is interchange station with MRT Pink Line – Lak Si Station
